In a few weeks, I will begin my last semester at Calvin College. For three and a half years, I have been blessed to call this place my home. Reflecting on my time at Calvin, I can see how God has been more than faithful to me, sustaining and providing for me in the most unconventional of ways.
So often I want to put God in a box, saying to Him "If you really loved me then you would do this, this, and this" and if things don't go my way, I pout and throw a temper tantrum and scream "So you really don't love me, huh, God?"
How silly I can be.
He's unconventional. Creative. Inventive.
And He provides in amazing ways.
I came to Calvin to get an education. I didn't realize that in the process I would gain a family.
I am so grateful for these people. They have made my days brighter, my laughs louder, my tears softer, my smile bigger, and my life richer.
[unconventional] Blessings,
Sarah
