It's back to campus for January. At Calvin, we do this thing called interim for the month of January. Interim consists of taking one class for the entire month, meeting either in the morning or afternoon. This gives students a chance to get off campus for a study abroad program if the cost or the length of an entire semester seems intimidating. Also, it gives students the chance to take a class they normally wouldn't, or catch up on requirements they need for their major.

For me this interim is strange. It's my last few weeks on campus and in the country. I'm trying to balance enjoying who I am with and looking forward to where I'm going to be. I can't wait to be in England, but also I'm increasingly realizing how much I'm going to miss people here.

This is where I'll be
