This is it! My last blog post of the year. It comes in the middle of exam week, always an interesting time. The most popular place on campus has transitioned from Johnny's to the library and around 4 pm everyone needs to get energy out on the beautiful days we are having! Those studying abroad are returning home, others are saying their last goodbyes for the summer, and ridiculous amounts of furniture and clothes is being transported.
Needless to say, I am looking forward to what is ahead. This summer I will be working an accounting internship in New Berlin, WI, four miles from my house. A Calvin alum who owns multiple small businesses in the Milwaukee area hired me to do auditing, implement new systems, and help out with general accounting work for his companies. I can't wait! I have been on quite a journey to discover what my calling will be, and this summer's experiences will have significant impact on my life decisions. Of course I will be training for cross-country next fall and enjoying time with family and friends as well.
Blogging has been a pleasure this year! I hope you found it interesting and/or insightful. On to exams for the rest of the week and then SUMMMMMMMER! WOOOOOO HOOOOO!
